Barzan gas field development delayed

Qatar is delaying Barzan gas field development to take advantage of the dropping cost. The Deputy Premier Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah said yesterday. "Barzan Qatar is a strategic project, we continue to do it. We will not abandon the project," al-Attiyah told Gulf Times Ras Laffan. QP and ExxonMobil announced the project in February 2007.
